Zongchao Zhang, Chairman
Holding a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Connecticut, USA, he has held positions at several prominent institutions, including the Catalysis Center of Northwestern University, the Environmental Catalysis R&D Center of Johnson Matthey in Philadelphia, the R&D Center of AkzoNobel in New Nork, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), and KiOR Biomass Liquid Fuel Innovation Company. Since 2013, he has led the biomass catalytic conversion research group at the Dalian Institute of Physical Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Most recently, he serves as the team leader at the Changzhou University Biomass High Value Conversion and Utilization Center (National and Local Joint Engineering Center).
Boqing Xu, Vice Chairman
Ph.D. from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Professor at Tsinghua University, Changjiang Distinguished Professor, and Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society. He has served as director of Tsinghua's Institute of Physical Chemistry, deputy director of the China Catalysis Committee, and deputy editor of ACS Catalysis. His research focuses on heterogeneous catalysis for sustainable energy and environmental technology. Major honors include the Catalysis Award from the Chinese Catalysis Society, the Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education, and the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
Mingxin Fan, Director
PhD from the University of Rochester, USA; Worked at Denstply and Sartomer/Arkema Group in the USA, serving as Senior Scientist, New Product Development Manager for North America, and Senior Technical Director for the Asia-Pacific region; Responsible for research and management of multiple R&D centers, with long-term experience in global specialty chemicals and materials research and commercialization management; Inventor of more than 60 U.S. patents and several hundred international patents."
